With its population of ‘just’ 19,000 people, but being the only city in Cornwall, Truro is regarded as the capital of the County. It’s a busy and bustling place and provides excellent road and rail links to the rest of the region.
The city provides a Victorian Cathedral and buildings, Georgian architecture and it sits alongside three rivers, hence its name being derived from the Cornish word Tri-veru which quite literally means ‘three rivers’.
