The following standard terms of business apply to all advertisers on propertyspot-sw.co.uk. All advertisers are subject to these terms except where changes are expressly agreed in writing.

Property Spot Southwest is owned and operated by Active Promotions, 5 Champernowne Crescent, Ilfracombe, North Devon EX34 9PL.
|
|
|
|
|
|
We have a policy of continuing product improvement and as such we reserve the right to alter any aspect of propertyspot-sw.co.uk without any prior notice to any advertiser.
|
|
|
|
|
|
By you submitting your listing details to us or by paying any money to us you are accepting these terms and conditions.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Payment for our services
|
|
|
|
|
|
Currently, we do not charge vat and listings can be paid for either monthly or annually:-
|
|
|
|
|
|
Annual Payment - pay for your listing 12 months in advance. It will be due for renewal 12 months from the date the listing is paid for. You will receive a renewal notice at least one month prior to the end of the term. No refunds are given if you wish to cancel your advertisement during the 12 month period.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Monthly Payment - spread the cost of your listing over a minimum period of 12 months. After you have made 11 monthly payments you may at any time give one months notice to cancel your listing. If you do not cancel your listing it will continue to be listed and you will continue to be charged.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Expected methods of payment
|
|
|
|
|
|
Active Promotions accepts payment for services provided via cheque, bank transfer or by monthly standing order.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Our terms relating to payment of amounts billed are strictly seven days from the date of request for payment. Interest and compensation for recovery cost may be charged on all overdue debts at the rate applicable under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (interest) Act 1998.

|
|
|
Limitations of liability
|
|
|
|
|
|
You understand and except that computer systems are not fault free and may occasionally require periods of down time in order to complete repairs or upgrades and Active Promotions cannot guarantee uninterrupted service and availability.
|
|
|
|
|
|
If we make an error or fail to provide a service to you we will correct this as soon as possible. In addition we may reduce the charges for the service as is fair and reasonable taking fully into account the nature of the error or failure. This represents the full extent of our liability to you.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Term and termination
|
|
|
|
|
|
Premium listings are supplied for a minimum period of 12 months.
|
|
|
|
|
|
If you are paying for your listing over 12 months you may end this agreement by giving one months notice at any time after making 11 monthly payments. If you have made an annual payment for your listing this agreement will end automatically after 12 months unless you choose to renew your listing and pay for it accordingly.

|
|
|
|
Active Promotions may, without notice to you in advance, choose to end this agreement. If this happens we would refund a payment to you which covers the unexpired term remaining on your listing.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Active Promotions may, without giving a reason, reject your application for a listing on our site.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Applicable law
|
|
|
|
|
|
These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English Law. Should any provision of these terms of business be held to be invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

|
|
