Honiton

From the M5 motorway take junction 28 and follow the A373 for ten miles and you will arrive at the town of Honiton.

Honiton dates back to Elizabethan times and it is set in the very heart of Devon. It was made famous for its lace making a century ago. The main street is about two miles long and has a variety of shops and cafes.

The A30 and A303 pass within a short distance to the town centre which makes it a good stop off point to other areas within the region. It has easy access to all the surrounding towns and villages which include Ottery St Mary, Woodbury, Dunkeswell, Axminster, Seaton, Lyme Regis, Branscombe, Sidmouth and Sidbury.

Honiton also boasts its own main line railway station, which therefore makes it a busy business centre and acts as a main shopping centre for this area of East Devon.
