With a population of around 2000 inhabitants, Combe Martin is famous for having the longest high street in the country, being over two miles long.
Combe Martin has a great sense of community spirit and has its own medical centre, library, village hall, football clubs, bowling green, and community centre.
The valley is situated on the Western edge of Exmoor and is approached along a coastal road which offers a fantastic view of Little and Great Hangman as you journey to the 'seaside' area of the village. This area features a selection of shops, cafes and inns that overlook the main beach. A short walk will also allow you to visit Wild Pear Beach, Sandy Cove and Newberry Beach.
Picturesque Berrynarbor is a small village which is situated at the coastal end of Sterridge Valley and can be found on the outskirts of Combe Martin on the road to Ilfracombe. It
